Hendricks Spatial Intelligence Summit

AI for the Physical World

One-day leadership summit. QSR in the morning, Retail, Luxury, and Hospitality in the afternoon, IMDA-supported lunch, and a Leadership Reception and Dinner to close. Internal proposal for leadership review.

Why Senior Leaders Would Attend

"Senior leaders will not fly down for a product showcase. They will fly down for what is harder to manufacture."

Access to senior peers

A curated room of decision-makers from QSR, Retail, Luxury, and Hospitality who are otherwise difficult to reach in one place.

Strong industry speakers

A speaker line-up drawn from operators, partners, and analysts who shape how spatial intelligence is being applied in the region.

Regional AI and operations insight

Asia-specific perspective on how physical AI is moving from pilot to production, grounded in real deployments rather than vendor claims.

Cross-sector benchmarking

A rare chance to hear how peers in adjacent industries are framing the same operational and customer experience questions.

Partner and customer networking

Structured and informal time with ecosystem partners, IMDA, Hendricks customers, and selected guests, designed to convert into follow-up conversations.

Premium curated experience

A format, venue, and hospitality standard that respects the time of senior attendees and signals the seriousness of the convening.

Clear strategic justification for their company

A defensible reason to be in the room: this is the conversation about where their physical operations are going next.

Recommended Focus Areas

QSR & Restaurant Operations

Themes

Drive-thru performance, speed of service, queue and order flow, kitchen station visibility, labour planning, order verification, POS-connected operational intelligence.

Retail, Luxury Retail & Hospitality

Themes

Customer journey mapping, footfall and conversion, dwell and engagement, staff-to-traffic alignment, forecasting and roster planning, store and venue performance, guest and client experience intelligence.

Out of scope for v1: Gov, Safety, and Security recommended out of scope for v1. It broadens the event too much, dilutes the commercial focus, and shifts the tone away from a leadership-led strategy conversation.

Programming Anchors

"Four elements that make the format feel like a leadership convening rather than a product event."

Hendricks Intelligence Gallery

Curated showcase, not a live demo area or sponsor booth. Video examples, dashboard views, journey diagrams, screenshots, and use case walls across QSR, Retail, Luxury, Hospitality, and Enfusion / Henri. Editorial in feel, considered in pace, designed to be browsed during breaks rather than pitched at.

Partner & Audience Strategy

Ecosystem partners can strengthen the summit by bringing credibility, speaker value, and audience pull beyond what Hendricks can convene alone. QSR technology partners, POS providers, innovation partners, retail partners, hospitality partners, and customer relationships can all help make the conversation more credible and commercially relevant.

IMDA / PIXEL can remain as the institutional credibility layer and lunch supporter.

Leadership Reception & Dinner

The official evening anchor. Semi-private hotel lounge, rooftop, or private dining setting from 5:30 PM to roughly 8:30 / 9:00 PM. Reserved space, drinks, dinner, and curated networking for senior leaders, speakers, partners, and selected guests. The intent is the same relaxed, off-the-record quality a yacht delivers, achieved through a polished hospitality format that does not require a full venue buyout. Practical, premium, and business-led. Differentiated in tone from TASK's panel and yacht model.

Optional After-Hours Layer

A flexible extension from roughly 8:30 / 9:00 PM onwards, offered only if there is appetite after the reception. Two possible formats: a private hosted gathering at Nic's residence for a smaller invite-only group of VIPs, selected partners, high-value prospects, and Hendricks leadership; or a casual bar continuation for a broader, lower-pressure conversation. Not part of the formal event promise. Kept as an internal flexible layer.

Short Recommendation

Hendricks should create a focused one-day Spatial Intelligence Summit around QSR and Retail, Luxury, and Hospitality, supported by IMDA lunch, partner-backed panels, a curated Hendricks Intelligence Gallery, and a premium evening Leadership Reception and Dinner. This positions Hendricks as a serious convener of AI and spatial intelligence conversations for physical businesses, while keeping the event practical, senior-facing, and differentiated from a standard panel-and-networking format.
