Questions

Where are my memories stored?

On your iPhone, in Mmory’s private storage. Recordings, transcripts, reminders and the search index are all local. Mmory has no server that holds them.

Does Mmory upload my recordings?

No. A recording leaves your iPhone only if you choose Share Audio and pick where to send it. Recordings are also left out of iCloud and computer backups.

Does Mmory work offline?

Yes. Recording, transcription, search, answers and reminders all run on your iPhone without a connection. You need a connection only to sign in, to buy or restore Mmory Pro, and once for Private AI to finish preparing.

What happens if Private AI is still preparing?

Nothing you need to do. After installation Mmory prepares its on-device AI in the background. Until it’s ready, Mmory still answers — using Apple’s on-device model where available, or by quoting your memories directly — so answers may simply be plainer. If Settings → Privacy & Data shows Private AI as Paused, check that Low Data Mode is off and that your iPhone has free space, then tap Try again.

How do I delete memories?

One: press and hold it, then Delete. Several: press and hold one, choose Select, tick the others, then Delete. Everything: Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete All Memories. Deleted memories are removed from your iPhone — recording, transcript and all — and cannot be recovered.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your Mmory account. It does not delete the memories on your iPhone, and it does not cancel a Mmory Pro subscription. More detail: Deleting your account and data.

How do I restore Mmory Pro?

Settings → Account → Restore purchases, signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with. If you signed in to a Mmory account when you subscribed, signing in again on a new iPhone brings Pro with you.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Mmory. Or in Mmory: Settings → Account → Manage subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so cancelling and refunds are handled by Apple. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.

What happens when I share audio?

Mmory hands the recording on your iPhone to the iOS share sheet, under a readable name like “Mmory - 2026-09-18 17-32.m4a”. You choose where it goes. Mmory doesn’t upload it anywhere itself.

What does the free plan include?

At launch, 50 saves each calendar month. Every new memory counts as one save, whether you speak it or type it, including reminders. Asking a question — spoken or typed — never uses a save, and neither do searching, reading, editing, or a recording that couldn’t be transcribed. Deleting a memory doesn’t give its save back. The count starts again on the 1st of each month, by your iPhone’s date and time zone.

What happens when I reach 50 saves in a month?

Mmory shows Mmory Pro before it starts a new recording, so nothing you say is recorded and then thrown away. Everything you’ve saved stays, and you can still ask about it — by voice or typed — and search it. New saves are available again on the 1st, or straight away with Mmory Pro.

Why did Mmory ask me about Mmory Pro?

Mmory mentions Pro once, after your twentieth saved memory, and you can close it and carry on. After that it only comes up if you reach the month’s 50 saves. Mmory Pro has no save limit.
